Hi Algenon, I thought your 5 points were "right on" My daughter who is 28 years old lost her job a little over a year ago. She followed most of your advice but did the following: She treated looking for a job as a full time job, she used loads of contacts and set up lunches and coffees, she e-mailed everyone she knew, she put her resume out etc; She also was very smart in that she kept up going to the gym, eating right, joined a bible group, volunteered at the hospital and socialized. I was so proud of her for this very well-rounde approach. She did get a job as a pharma.sales rep.
